Caring for Communities beyond our doors

Especially during these tough times, we have felt it important that our work to help Care for Communities is of the upmost importance. Aside from the regular soup kitchen which we run near our Brandveli site, where our Royal Ancient Desert Kalahari Range is packed, we have partnered up with Food Forward South Africa and the Arc City Refuge in the supply of salt to help feed thousands of people every day.

The feeding program in the Arc City refuge meets the needs of all 900 residents residing there, as well as additional people in need from the surrounding community.  Food Forward South Africa has been operating for over 10 years and has provided over 16.8 million meals to over 200,000 people. It covers 11 of the 17 UN Sustainability Development Goals and is a well-recognised program that we are proud to be part of.
